Sept. 28^th - Oct. 3^rd Edition 

• Homecoming Parade: Tonight Monday September 28^th we will meet behind the First Baptist Church of Wylie at 5:00 p.m. Look for the Army National Guard transport vehicle, Coach Wight’s jeep, or a bunch of guys wearing baby blue T-shirts. The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. and a pep rally to follow. You will need to provide you own transportation to and from this event.
• End of the Grading Period: Friday marks the end of the first six weeks grading period. Make sure that all of you assignments are turned in; you have done your projects, and have studied for this week’s tests. We need to continue to show the rest of the athletes at WHS how it is done.
• School Picture retakes: Thursday October 1^st is school picture retakes. They will be in the auditorium.
• Homecoming festivities: The homecoming football game is Friday evening at 7:30 against Plano Sr. High, and the dance is Saturday night at 7:30 in the cafeteria. Both events are cheaper to attend if tickets are purchased in advance.
• Open Mat: Open mat/weight room will be Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 4:30-5:30 p.m.  

• On the Horizon: Oct. 8^th- Parent/Teacher Conferences (WHS). Oct 10^th- SAT testing 7:30 a.m. (WHS and various locations). Oct. 31^st- Tentative Alpha Weight test date. 11:00 a.m. (McKinney North). Nov. 5^th- Inter-squad competition (WHS aux. gym). Nov 7^th- St. Marks Scimmage (St. Marks). Nov. 10^th- Season Opener, Lake Highlands Dual 6:00 p.m. (LHHS).
