‘Wylie Wrestling News’ Season Edition 11/14 – 11/19
Monday, November 14th:
· With our first week of competition completed, I am excited the season is here. The Wylie Wrestlers finished 6th place out of 7 teams at the Mustang Invitational this weekend. Congratulations to Varsity Wrestlers Donnie Mashburn, Anthony Pena, and Gus Kortemeier on Runner-Up Finishes. Also, Congratulations to Caleb Sumners on being are lone Champion.
· Congratulations to J.V. Wrestlers Colton Dahl, Antwan Alston, and Skyler Bagley on Runner-Up Finishes. Additional Congratulations to eventual Champions Brendan Disque and Brad Beattie.
· Today is the start of the 3rd Six Weeks. Set new goals for the classroom and on the mat.
Tuesday, November 15th:
· Optional After School Practice: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 16th:
· Wrestling Parent Meeting (New Athlete Specific) 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 17th:
· Weatherford / F.M. Marcus Dual @ F.M. Marcus High School 6:00 p.m. start time. Shirt and Tie required.
Saturday, November 19th
· Wrestling Practice 9:00-11:00 a.m.
